You can use this to view/create/edit games,fixtures,teams,leagues,divisions,venues

Every time you enter a game results in the database team statistics are created/updated for the teams that played that game

However its your responsability to add the league,division and website for each team

Only admins can create/edit enteries under the league section

You can use this to view/create/edit news

Admins can edit/create news either in a text mode or a GUI html mode and chose whatever name from the users as the poster

Registered users can post news too but only in a html GUI mode and only for their name

Admins can chose a specific news entry wich is the one to be displayed on the main PHPFootball index

This allows you to do case-insensitive searches
It allows pattern matching so you can use `_' to match any single character and `%' to match an arbitrary number of characters.
Examples :
find text beginning with `lon': lon%
find text ending with `ited': %ited
find text containing a `word': %word%
find text containing exactly 5 chars' : _____
You can even enter a date boundary to only show the results in a time frame
