Can you get on xbox live with an ethernet cable plugged into a laptop ?
if i plugged an ethernet cable into my xbox and then into my laptop which is connected to the internet wirelessly, would i get connected to xbox live on the xbox ? i dont care how fast it is….i just want to quickly buy something off of the marketplace.
No. You have to have the wireless thing for the Xbox and hook it to your router. You can go online on your laptop and buy from xbox live site.
